For God’s sake, why don’t you have Japan letters (and another non-european) accessible AS A PICTURES?! Wouldn’t it be much better? Where do I have get letters like these as a computer fonts (and for free, I’m not Onassis)? I cannot study Japanese on your web, if I see only squares instead of letters… :frowning:

@Jergon:
Please install East Asian language support, see
“A Quick & Dirty Guide to Installing & Using East Asian Languages Under Microsoft Windows” http://bit.ly/pBcNPg
No need being rich like Onassis… :wink:

The trouble with foreign letters being displayed as pictures is that the LingQ software doesn’t recognise it as text. There are loads of webpages on learning kanji that I can’t import into LingQ because the kanji are rendered as pictures, and it drives you crazy after a while. }:frowning:

It would be easier if this one in hiragana. It’s hard for a beginner to know, amongst everything else, the kanji adds another layer of difficulty IMHO. Also, the hover doesn’t always help you out with knowing how to pronounce the kanji, so it really leaves a beginning learner is a tough spot.
