Finding an interesting Japanese book on audible.co.jp but with access to the ebook

Hello,

I’m currently reading Murakami books, but there seems to be no Japanese narration for those. I saw that audible.co.jp has quite a few audiobooks, but I know none of the authors and don’t know how to get the ebook for parallel reading and listening…

Can you help me find an interesting book with audio and text?

I don’t know about audible.co.jp but here is how I’m doing it, I would highly recommend you www.febe.jp . It’s a website where you can buy (with credit card) audiobooks. Some of them come with ebooks and some don’t. If they don’t come with ebooks I simply buy them on amazon.co.jp you can then read them on Kindle for PC, or convert them with calibre to other formats. Here is a link (in german) on how to buy ebooks from the japanese amazon. http://arisu.de/wie-man-japanische-e-books-mit-einem-kindle-kauft/ .It’s a bit of a hassle to buy the ebooks though… I recommend you Tenso.com where you can get yourself a japanese address, which you can then use for amazon.co.jp. This is the Tenso link : http://www.tenso.com/en/guide/flow/index.html, and here is what you have to fill in the japanese adress fields when you changed your country settings in amazon. https://www.tenso.com/jp/guide/buy/address.html . If you have any questions (I know it’s complicated), be sure to ask them. By the way, for amazon.co.jp you need a credit card too.

Thank you, that is very helpful!!

By the way, have you listened+read a good book recently in Japanese from those sources?

I recently bought デルトラクエスト沈黙の森 because I loved the voice actors. It’s a simply written book (though I think it’s a japanese translation of an english book). It’s a fantasy novel, which was all in all I think 15€. So far I like it, but “Geschmäcker sind verschieden”.
