Audio Track - Youtube Videos

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of uploading an audio track when importing Youtube videos?

I understand that when we import YT videos into LingQ using the Chrome LingQ importer, we now only get a link to the youtube video and not a separate audio track due to copyright issues. This is a bit limiting for the way I learn.

Is there a way to get and upload an audio track from the Youtube video with Youtube Premium? Or is there some other way of uploading an audio track into LingQ?

Thanks everyone.

On PC, when I import a YT video to LingQ, there is an option to edit the lesson when you click the three dot. And on the left side, it allows me to upload an audio file.
I haven’t tried it but if you download the youtube video’s MP3 file and add it to your lesson, it may work. (i didn’t try it)

You’re welcome. I just tried it too, and it works great.
After you add your mp3 file, you should delete the video so it won’t bother you anymore.

Have you tried listening to the video in sentence mode? My audio is not syncing up with the text. Don’t know about you?

If you mean the mode i shared its screen shot, it works very well on PC.

I’m sorry I’m also new to LingQ, by saying ‘‘sentence mode’’ if you mean the ‘‘sentence view’’ thing, I can’t find out how to use that mode. It’s so confusing, I don’t like it at all to be honest.
