Many times I want to change the headword as it comes in from my reading matter, either because I want to do something like change the tense of the word or I want to edit out a typo. Is it possible to do this?
It is not possible to edit the headword. But in the “translation” you can introduce whatever form you want. I myself often put the infinitif of a linked verbal form, followed by the translation.

It’s not possible to edit the headword. But you can import word you want to change manually on the My Vocabulary page in different form if you want.
