Wpadł lis w jamę, wilk nadszedł, a widząc w złym stanie,
The fox had fallen into a hole, the wolf came, and seeing (the fox) in bad shape,
Uma raposa caiu na toca, o lobo apareceu e viu-se em maus lençóis,
Лисиця впала в лігво, прийшов вовк і побачив її в поганому стані,
Oświadczył mu żal szczery i politowanie.
He (the wolf) declared his compassion and pity.
Declarou-lhe sincero pesar e pena.
Він висловив йому щирий жаль і співчуття.
«Nie żałuj — lis zawołał — chciej lepiej ratować».
«Don't pity me - the fox cried - rather you shall want to save me».
"Não te lamentes", gritou a raposa, "queres salvar melhor.
"Не шкодуй, - вигукнула лисиця, - хочеться врятувати краще.
«Zgrzeszyłeś, bracie lisie, trzeba pokutować».
«You have sinned, brother fox, you ought to atone».
"Pecaste, irmão raposa, tens de te arrepender".
"Ти згрішив, брате лисе, тобі треба покаятися".
I nagroda, i kara zarówno się mierzy:
Both reward and punishment are evenly measured:

І винагорода, і покарання мають однакову міру:
Kto nikomu nie wierzył, nikt temu nie wierzy.
Who have believed no one, no one believes him.
