België, officieel het Koninkrijk België, is een West-Europees land begrensd door de Noordzee in het westen, Nederland in het noorden, Duitsland en Luxemburg in het oosten en Frankrijk in het zuiden. Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a Western European country bordered by the North Sea to the west, the Netherlands to the north, Germany and Luxembourg to the east and France to the south.

Terwijl Frans in Wallonië de officiële taal is naast het Duits in enkele oostelijke gemeenten. While French is the official language in Wallonia alongside German in some eastern municipalities. Język francuski jest językiem urzędowym w Walonii obok niemieckiego w niektórych wschodnich gminach. De Franssprekende mensen worden in het algemeen Walen genoemd. The French-speaking people are generally referred to as Walloons. Osoby francuskojęzyczne nazywane są ogólnie Walonami. De hoofdstad Brussel is tweetalig en het Duits wordt gesproken in een klein gedeelte van de provincie Luik. The capital Brussels is bilingual and German is spoken in a small part of the province of Liège. Stolica Bruksela jest dwujęzyczna, a w niewielkiej części prowincji Liège mówi się po niemiecku.

De economie van België is met name gebaseerd op diensten, vervoer, handel en industrie. The economy of Belgium is mainly based on services, transport, trade and industry. Gospodarka Belgii opiera się głównie na usługach, transporcie, handlu i przemyśle.

De Belgische cultuur is vooral gestoeld op sport, literatuur en muziek. Belgian culture is mainly based on sports, literature and music. Kultura belgijska opiera się głównie na sporcie, literaturze i muzyce.

Voetbal en wielrennen zijn erg populair. Dużą popularnością cieszy się piłka nożna i kolarstwo.
