Importing limits clarified
zoran

Lesson gets split automatically on every 2000 words. So, for example, if you import a text with 10000 words, it will get split into 5 parts. Audio should be split automatically too to match the text in this case, but in some cases it doesn't split perfectly.
You can try splitting the text/audio manually and import them manually as a separate lessons, if that works better for you. Just keep in mind that 2000 words in a lesson is a limit.

Thanks Zoran! A follow-up question: if I import a lesson with 2005 words for example, would lingq split it up? If so, how would it do it: 2000 and 5 or a different split? (Just curious if the limit is a strict 2000). Thanks!

Those are rare cases, but then the complete text would end up in one lesson.

Thanks again Zoran! I agree, they are rare cases. What are the cut-off points exactly? It may come in handy to know when I am manually cutting the texts

Hey @zoran I'm just bumping this thread again. Do you know the exact cut-off value [word count] that lingq uses to split up lessons? Thanks!
