How do we make suggestions for improvement to lingq

I love the feature on the google translate app to translate books/text by hovering your camera over it. This is great for reading Portuguese books to my child when I don’t remember a word. Evernote app has a feature of reading text and scanning it to a document, thereby making it searchable in the future, even text embedded in a book and handwritten stuff (when your handwriting is better than mine!.

I would love it if lingq app could combine these features, essentially allowing you to scan foreign language books you have in print or newspaper articles you find when you are travelling to use as lessons later. How and where do we make suggestions for future editions of lingq?

The best ways to pass your suggestions are by posting on the forum, like you just did, or emailing us on support(at)lingq.com
Appreciate your suggestion. I am not sure if we can do any of these, but I’ll forward your feedback to our team and we’ll see what we can do.

I did a video showing how to import physical text into LingQ: Importing Textbooks into LingQ - YouTube

You can use other OCR apps too (Google Translate is good)

This is a good place to make suggestions! We actually have looked at what we can do there in terms of enabling scanning to LingQ. Importing the scanned result shouldn’t be an issue but the quality of the result can sometimes be a bit poor. At any rate, it is something we are looking at. We would like to make it as easy as possible to get the content you want into LingQ.
