Take these two phrases:
新しい言語 adjective, then noun.
簡単なレツスン adjective, then な, then noun.
why is the な there after the adjective? What does it add? The first phrase doesn’t have it.
There are different types of adjectives. Some end in な while others end in い. It might help to review some basic grammatical principles as a supplement to your lingq-ing.

The “smiley face” in レッスン is supposed to be small.
And, ironically, I’ve heard this little ツ (or little つ) referred to as 小さいつ and also 小さなつ, ending in “i” or “na”.
