Is there a direct translation?
Not in English. In most cases the ใ is not translated back if you were translating a sentence from Japanese into English.
ใ is an object marker. Itโs function is to make clear what the object of the sentence is.
In your lesson: ใใ ใใซใ ใใใฎใฟใพใ The ใ comes after the ใใ ใใซใ ใ (milk) to show that the milk is the object of the verb (milk is what the cat drinks) In the same way, for sentences in Japanese ใ would come after โballโ in the sentence for โI throw the ballโ, after โcarโ in the sentence โI drive the carโ.

ใ is what we call a particle. It marks the direct object in a sentence.
