They always go together. Nobody would ever say “아 고프다!” It’s similar with being full “배가 부르다.” It’s just the way that you say it in Korean. Unfortunately languages don’t care whether people think they’re logical or not :smiley: haha. Would be nice though eh? I don’t know the actual explanation for why these particular words go together, but they definitely do
