What do I do if a tutor does not show up at the designated time? Is there any possibility on a refund of points or is the system automatic?
nevermind issue resolved. Though an answer to that question if it does happen in the future would be appreciated.

There is no automatic refund of the points. They are caught in limbo. Until, that is, the student and tutor can find a time to reschedule, whereupon the points are given out as normal, or until the tutor cancels the conversation, which results in the points being returned to the student.
If your tutor doesn’t show, send them a message and try to find a convenient time to reschedule, or ask them to cancel the conversation which will give you your points back.
