Ladle

I know ladle can be a verb and can also be a noun.
Can “ladle” be a measure word?
For example, I’d like two ladles of the sauce.
Thank you!!

I think ladleful(s) would be more common for that example.

First off, “ladle” isn’t a super common word in everyday speech. However, it is us used in the food/cooking context.

You could use both “ladle” and “ladleful,” but the latter is probably more common.
