Pero antes, una ducha caliente me iba a sentar de maravilla

I am using Google Translate to help more and more, but some of these expressions still elude me.

Google thinks this means “a shower would sit me down”, but I think its something else.

“Sentar de maravilla” in this case means to do one good, to hit the spot, to feel great/wonderful.

Gracias!

Someone thought that sentar was a misprint, and it should have been “sentir” instead.

Check out “sentar bien” - to go well. to fit well, agree
