Hay una diferencia entre “tengo hambre” y “estoy hambriento”?

Tengo is far more common, but they’re the same. After years of hearing “Tengo sed,” I saw in the Spanish show Chicas del Cable the lead character said “Estoy sediento.”

Interested to hear Katys reply as native speaker.

Hi! I’d say “estoy hambriento” is more intense. When you say it you usually want to say “I’m starving” . The same with “estoy sediento”. You could also say “¡Tengo un hambre!” or “¡Tengo una sed!”.
