Ella sea / ella es

Hola, I just started learning Spanish, and I know the verbs “ser” and “estar” that are basically similar to the verb “to be”, “ser” for when it’s permanent and “estar” for when it is temporary ,anyway, for conjugation with “ella” it is “es/esta”, bien, but now I found in a sentence “ella sea” and it is translated to “she is” so what verb is that “sea” and when to use it ?

It is “ser” in the subjunctive tense. You will see the subjunctive tense a lot it Spanish, but it’s probably a long, long way off for you if you are just beginning. You certainly won’t “use” it for a while.

For now, know that “Ella sea” means “She is…” on those occaisions when a subjunctive tense is called for.

For example, if I said, “Ella es una mujerzuela,”(She is a floozy.), you could say back, “No creo que ella sea una mujerzuela. Ella simplemente es simpatica a todos los hombres.” (I don’t think she is a floozy. She’s just very friendly to all the men).
