Nu ințeleg semnificația expresiei : a se duce vestea în lume de vrednicia ei (de se dusese vestea în lume de vrednicia ei).

I do not understand the meaning of the expression.

Hello Fabritiu, the meaning of that expresion is That everyone knew about her honor.
But i’ll tell you something about your lesson. That text is from an old romanian tale and contain many word almost ancient, that normaly are not used so often now a days. Is not a good ideea to learn the modern romanian language on that kind of text, you will be confused. Try something much recent not old romanian tales. This kind of text is for advanced speakers and sometimes they are dificult for romanian themselves :slight_smile:
