Quem ou o que está se afstando
Isso depende da frase, vamos ver alguns exemplos abaixo (vou explicar também em inglês):
- O menino se afastou da menina.
“the boy moved away from the girl”, both in literal (he was near to her and then moved away) and metaphorical (he had a close relationship with her and then he decided to stop talking hanging out or something like this with her) meanings. - O menino afastou o vaso para o canto da sala.
“the boy moved the vase to the corner of the room”.
Ou seja, quando você utiliza o “se”, como em “se afastou” ou “afastou-se”, o sujeito da frase é quem faz e recebe a ação (o menino afastou a ele mesmo da menina). Quando não se usa o “se”, o ato de afastar ocorre com algum objeto.
