I don't understand the difference between those two frases: 1) Questa è la storia di Giustino 2)Questa è la stessa storia raccontata da Giustino Why is "di" used in the first sentence and "da" in the second? Do they have different meanings?

    Why is “di” used in the first sentence and “da” in the second?

“di” introduces various indirect complements in italian, in this “di Giustino” is a complemento di specificazione (a complement that adds information to the subject it follows) in English is would be “This is Giustino’s story”
“da” viceversa introduces what we call complemento di agente which indicates the persono or animal performing the action of a passive verb. In English this would be “This is the same story told by Giustino”
