Could a German speaker please check that this transcipt is correct?

In the following lesson: Login - LingQ at around 00:39 the transcipt says: Heute werden viele nicht mehr benutzt, viele waren auch oft douppelt in der Bedeutung

I’ve listened over and over and the “viele” after benutzt just does not sound at all like viele to me, it has more like a sie sound… are my ears just wrong? It would be great if someone with a better ear for German could have a quick listen and tell me if I’m wrong.

Vielen dank!

I think someone already changed it:
Heute werden viele nicht mehr benutzt, sie waren auch oft doppelt in der Bedeutung.

I have found two minor erros in the transcript:
In the middle of the text, there is a wrong word, the correct words are: " denn vielleicht ist es für den einen oder anderen unserer Community hilfreich. "
At the end, there is a word missing: “sondern sich ganz einfach dafür interessieren…”

PS: The speaker pronounces “community” as if it were a German word. It’s the first time I heard it pronounced that way. In most cases, people in Germany use the original pronunciation for English loan words (with a German accent of course  )

  1. I changed it.
  2. That’s right. I can only assume, that she is not used to speak English.
