“Volunteer ‘apprentices’ pair up with one of the
last
living speakers of a Native American tongue to
learn
a traditional skill such as basket weaving, with
instruction exclusively in the endangered
language.”

Here “Volunteer ‘apprentices’ pair up with one of
the last
living speakers of a Native American tongue to
learn
a traditional skill such as basket weaving,” and
“with
instruction exclusively in the endangered
language.” are the two parts of the given
sentence. I have failed to make clear sense from
this two part of this sentence. Would you like to
clear to find out the relation between 2nd and 1st
part of the sentence? The meaning of 1st part of
this sentence is not clear to me, and I can not
find out the meaning of 2nd part of sentence with
respect to 1st part of that.

Basked weaving is being taught (with instruction exclusively in) to people who act as volunteers. The only language used is the endangered language.
