what does 来想 mean in 杰克 刚 鞋 坐下 来想 和 一位 同事。。。
I think the unit is probably 下来 indicating (figuratively) a motion “towards us,” but if 坐下 is a single unit I would say that 来 seems to get used a lot before a verb phrase to add rather little meaning, maybe to show the purpose of the first action (though purpose here wouldn’t make much sense to me since the verb is 想).
I could be missing something.
