Meaning of 接 in "那 接 我 看 看 ， 行 吗 ？"

Conversational Chinese 301 volume 2, 23 对不起 道歉 2 会话:
“那 接 我 看 看 ， 行 吗 ？” Subtitle says: “can I read it?” Does the 接 literally mean “can you get/take it to me to read?” At first I thought it should be 借， lend. Then I read the sulbtitle in the video. So it must be 接 after all. Am I right in my interpretation? 谢谢
