What’s the difference between the two different forms of new: “jhudeed” & "juhdeedu in this lesson? شكرا

I don’t see any difference in the text, جديد (jadeed) is masculine while جديدة (jadeeda) is feminine.

In the sentences أنا عايز كتاب جديد and أنا عايز أتعلم لغة جديدة , is the book masculine and the language feminine? It looks similar to German which requires adjective endings to reflect the gender of the nouns they modify, ie. “ein neues Buch (n)” [a new book] / “eine neue Sprache (f)” [a language] / “ein neuer Wagen (m)” [a new car]. It looks similar to German in this way, aside from the fact that German has three genders, masculine, feminine and neuter. Am I understanding things correctly? شكرا

That’s correct, since book is masculine, you have to put the masculine form of the adjective “new”. Same thing for language that is feminine.

Note that words that end in ة) ـة) are feminine, though not all feminine words end in ـة.
