my browser shows the translation of this word as BROTHER, and it shows the correct arabic word for brother, but the word in the text is actually HER (hiiya), so that’s wrong. i dont know what to do about it,

أخيك means your brother

اخيها = it is for her, her brother.

i was not really asking this, i was more reporting a bug in the software. My cursor was over هي but showed me the translation for أخيك. Thanks anyways though! Are you learning arabic on here too?

There is sometimes a time delay when making LingQs. Try F5 when it happens again - this should clear the problem. If you have any technical questions or suggestions, the Support Forum is the best place for a speedy reply.
