ECOUTEZ ?
1: Imperative of โecouterโ which means to listen. So; Listen!
2: The โvous-vormโ of ecouter. Second person, plural. Vous ecoutez, you (all) are listening/ you (all) listen.
This seems to be very wrong. I am pretty sure it should be with an ร. Imperative: (vous) รcoutez from the infinitive: รcouter.
Nous รฉcrivons รcoutez ou Ecoutez / nous ne mettons pas toujours les accents sur les majuscules
So, it looks like accent marks can be dropped for capital letters (I didnโt know that myself:)
From http://french.about.com/od/pronunciation/a/accents.htm:
It is essential to put accents in their proper places - an incorrect or missing accent is a spelling mistake just as an incorrect or missing letter would be.
Aha, intรฉressant. Pourquoi vous ne mettez pas toujours les accents sur les majuscules?
Aha, interesting. Why you do not always put accent marks on capital letters?
Nous omettons souvent les accents sur les majuscules car cโest trop contraignant
En effet, il nโy a pas de touches sur le clavier pour ces lettres.

Awesome to know. Thank you everyone.
As MissTake said, the problem is that on our French keyboards itโs impossible to put accents on capital letters, except using special characters. Thatโs why most people leave capital letters unaccented.
