What means a word - greedy?
Greedy means you want too much money or too much for yourself. It can mean you think about money before friends and family. It can mean when you share money or anything else with others, you take more than what is fair.
It can apply to money, or it can apply to other things too - food, booze, sex, etc.
I believe Steve Kaufman once freely confessed in one of his Youtube videos that he is greedy for WORDS when he learns a new language!? So, at least in that limited sense, the old Gordon Gekko quote holds good: greed can, indeed, be good!
