we use" would" in many situations for example the past tense of will , i don’t mean to explain it as grammar but what are the situations we use it in

The verb ‘would’ is used in the Future in the Past (Indirected Speech) and in the Conditional Mood in the ‘polite’ questions:
He told me he would come the next day.
Where would you like to go now?
Would you mind my openiung the window?
