Please, could somebody help me? What does it means this

Please, could somebody help me? What does it means this phrase: “I’ve found myself to be on a bit of a simplification kick lately.”

To be on a kick means that you temporarily have a high interest in – or enthusiasm for – something.

To be on a ‘fitness kick,’ for example, might mean that you are exercising more than you usually do, such as going to the gym every day.

Or if you are on a ‘reggae kick,’ it might mean that you are listening to nothing but reggae music at the moment.

So if someone says, “I’ve found myself to be on a bit of a simplification kick lately,” it can mean that they feel that some of the things that they have been doing has made their life too complicated and difficult, and now they are trying to simplify what they are doing, to make life less complicated and easier, i.e., “I have discovered that I am currently trying to simplify my approach to everything that I do in my life.”
