Could someone interpret this sentence especially the zai sheng and qi part. Thanks just dont get it.

哥哥 elder brother
在 here: (indicating an action in progress), currently
生 to grow
你的 your
气 gas, here: anger
可能 你 哥哥 在 生 你 的 气
Maybe your elder brother is (currently) angry with you.
生气 shēngqì = to get angry, in Chinese: “to grow anger”
Awesome makes sense but why is 你 的 in between sheng and qi?
“在” here means still angering about you (continue doing something)
生气 is a separable verb
You can have something like 对你生气 or you can separate and have something like 生你的气
Separating verbs sounds a bit “cooler” in Chinese.
It is similar to English having phrasal verbs:
Check out my new computer. Check my new computer out.
