Apologies if this has been asked before. If I decide that I finally know a word for which I created a LingQ, how do I move it from LingQs to Known Words, and have it count towards my total of known words (rather than have it simply disappear)? Thanks!
LingQs have 6 statuses: 1,2,3,4,V and X. Which are shown on the right panel of the screen.
Usually all you have to do is to click on the yellow word (the LingQ) and move the status of it to “4”, which makes the selected LingQ a known word and counts it as one.
Important to notice is that LingQs don’t dissappear when you move them to a “known word”.
This is because you forget words, so you can set the status back from “4” to, e.g. “3” or below once you’ve forgotten it.
