Te metas un pino

“no quiero que te metas un pino”
I gather this means something like I don’t want you to hit a tree?

Sorry for the delay in the reply. I hadn’t seen the thread before.
“Meterse un piño” is a slang expression meaning “get hit”. In general both “piño” and “piña” (literally “pine cone”) can be used in the sense of “blow”, “hit”, “strike”. Also the augmentative form “piñazo” is usual.

A further note, the name of the tree is “pino”, not “piño”.
