Reading practice with latin alphabet on (japanese)

When i try to read without latin alphabet (only romaji, katakana, kanji), I read so slow and that makes my progression
slowed. Is it alright to turn latin alphabet option on while reading ?

If you don´t want to learn how to read and write Japanese, yes.

I know katakana and hiragana, and some kanji. It’s just about my slow reading. And yes i want to read and write japanese

Well, in that case, stick to Kana and Kanji. The more you read, the easier it gets.
