Eu-dict is a multilingual dictionary that has a lot of translations for words you are unlikely to find in a common dictionary. According to themselves they are “a collection of online dictionaries for the languages spoken mostly in Europe”. The size of the dictionaries wearies depending on the language; some words might be incorrect or mistyped so one should keep that in mind but other than that it seems to be a very useful site. I manage to translate some difficult words that I encounter in newspapers form Finnish to English that I don’t think I would have found in a traditional or common online dictionary.
