W Dusseldorfie wylądowaliśmy około półtorej godziny później. Etwa anderthalb Stunden später landeten wir in Düsseldorf. We landed in Dusseldorf about an hour and a half later. Załadowaliśmy się do kolejnego Boeinga, tym razem 747, pełnego samych Niemców, przynajmniej takie wrażenie odnieśliśmy na podstawie gwaru niemieckich rozmów. Während des Fluges wurde uns ein leckeres Abendessen angeboten und auf Fernsehern unter der Decke wurde ein Film gezeigt. Stewardessa przechodziła obok mnie z kartonikiem pełnym słuchawek, dzięki którym można było słyszeć dźwięk do filmu. The TVs displayed information about the flight, a map showing where we were, the altitude of the flight, about 10 kilometers, and the temperature outside the window, approx. -65 stopni Celsjusza. -65 Grad Celsius. Później skończył się pod nami ląd i zaczął ocean, zatem nie było już na co patrzeć. Dann endete das Land unter uns und der Ozean begann, also gab es nichts mehr zu sehen. Obudziła mnie zmiana tonu silników opadającego samolotu, zbliżaliśmy się już do wysp. As they approached, they took the form of small hills protruding from the ocean. Było to takie nierzeczywiste, że nie wiedziałem czy to jawa czy jeszcze sen. Es war so unwirklich, dass ich nicht wusste, ob es real oder nur ein Traum war. It was so unreal that I didn't know if it was a dream or still a dream. Po kilku minutach cały widok przesłoniła jedna wyspa - Gran Canaria - na którą właśnie opadaliśmy. Nach ein paar Minuten wurde die ganze Sicht von einer Insel versperrt – Gran Canaria – auf die wir gerade fielen. After a few minutes, the entire view was obscured by a single island - Gran Canaria - to which we had just descended. Byłem zdziwiony, że jest aż taka górzysta. Wylądowaliśmy... Po wyjściu z samolotu przekonałem się, że porzucenie kurtki w Dusseldorfie było słuszną decyzją. Wir sind gelandet ... Autobusy tutaj nazywane są guaguas. Die Busse hier heißen Guaguas. Chwilę później przyjechał autobus i po wykupieniu biletów za dwa euro z haczykiem od osoby, załadowaliśmy się na pierwsze siedzenia aby mieć dobry widok. Einen Moment später kam der Bus und nachdem wir Tickets für zwei Euro mit einem Haken pro Person gekauft hatten, luden wir uns auf die ersten Plätze, um eine gute Aussicht zu haben. Moments later, the bus arrived and after buying tickets for two euros off the hook per person, we loaded into the first seats to get a good view. Kiedy czekaliśmy na autobus zdążyło się już ściemnić i teraz pruliśmy autostradą podziwiając piękne, nocne widoki. Als wir auf den Bus warteten, war es bereits dunkel geworden und jetzt fuhren wir die Autobahn entlang und bewunderten die schöne Aussicht bei Nacht. By the time we waited for the bus it had already darkened and we were now plowing along the highway enjoying the beautiful night views.
