-(앵커) 오늘 서울 도심에서는 노동절을 맞이해 거리 두기 해제 후 첫 대규모 집회가 열렸습니다. -(Anchor) Today in downtown Seoul, on Labor Day, the first large-scale rally was held after the distancing was lifted. 노동자들은 새 정부에서 검토하는 노동유연화와 중대재해처벌법 완화에 대해 반대의 목소리를 분명히 했습니다. Workers have expressed their opposition to the new government's review of labor flexibility and easing of the severe accident punishment law. 김세영 기자가 취재했습니다. Correspondent Kim Se-young reported.

-(기자) 서울 도심에서 열린 132번째 노동절 집회. 지난달 18일 거리 두기 조치가 완전 해제된 뒤 열린 첫 집회로 집회 측 추산 노동자 1만 4000명이모였습니다. It was the first rally held on the 18th of last month after the distancing measures were completely lifted, and an estimated 14,000 workers gathered at the assembly. 노동자들은 코로나19로 인한 고용 불안도 힘들지만 일하다 동료들이 죽는 상황이 이어진다는 것이 가장 고통스럽습니다. Although it is difficult for workers to find employment insecurity due to COVID-19, the most painful thing is that their co-workers die while working.

(📢) -아침에 출근했다가 퇴근을 못 하고있습니다. (📢) - I went to work in the morning and couldn't come home. 건설 노동자들이 800명, 900명이 목숨을 잃었습니다. 800 and 900 construction workers lost their lives.

-(기자) 중대재해법이 시행된 지 100일이 지났지만 벌써 59명이 일터에서 목숨을 잃었습니다. -(Reporter) It has been 100 days since the Act was enacted, but 59 people have already lost their lives at work. 이런 데도 대통령 인수위에서 사업주 처벌 기준을 벌금형으로 완화하는 중대재해처벌법 개정안 검토 이야기가 나오면서 노동계의 반발은 더 커지고 있습니다. Despite this, the opposition from the labor community is growing as the Presidential Transition Committee is talking about reviewing the amendment to the Serious Accident Punishment Act, which eases the punishment standard for business owners with fines.

-(기자) 건설 노동자들은 또 발주자부터 감리까지 건설 공사에 안전 관리 의무를 부과하는 건설안전특별법 도입도 주장했습니다. -(Reporter) Construction workers also argued for the introduction of a special construction safety law that imposes safety management obligations on construction work from the ordering party to the supervision. 이와 함께 노동 시간 유연화, 최저임금 차등 적용 등 인수위가 내놓은 노동위원회 전체의 전면 재고도 요구했습니다. At the same time, they demanded a complete reconsideration of the entire Labor Relations Commission, which was introduced by the transition committee, such as flexible working hours and applying a differential minimum wage. 행사를 마친 집회 참가자들은 반노동정책 철회를 요구하며 통의동 인수위까지 집회했습니다. After the event, the protesters demanded the withdrawal of the anti-labor policy and even rallied to the Tongui-dong transition committee. 오늘 집회는 서울과 부산, 대구 등 전국 16개 지역에서 동시다발적으로 열렸고 Today's rally was held simultaneously in 16 regions across the country, including Seoul, Busan, and Daegu. 본 대회에 앞서 장애인, 이주민들의 노동권 보장을 요구하는 사전 집회도 잇따랐습니다.
