Our discussion today was about memories, specifically, our most treasured memories. You told me about a trip to Italy, specifically to Venice, that you took with your family, with your husband and your daughter. And while you were there, there was a storm. It sounds like it was a pretty serious storm. You were in a crowd of people when it hit, and you were separated from your husband. You were afraid for your daughter. You were afraid that someone was going to hurt her and as the storm raged on, you found yourself being pushed towards the sea. And then you became afraid that either you or your daughter were going to get pushed into it. So you screamed in Slovenian. From what I gather, you screamed quite loud because this frantic crowd made a space for you and in that moment you felt pretty powerful. Then I told you a story about my dog, Boaz, how I had a dream that he had passed. But I realized it was a dream. So I woke up. When I woke up, I realized he had still passed, and the grief of that woke me up a second time, and when I woke up that second time, he was there by my bed and he recognized that there was something off about me. So he laid down next to me and he let me hold his head until I felt better. I also told you a story about how Boaz would bark a foster dog into the corner while she was here for no reason that I could figure out. After he passed, that dog attacked ,my other dog, my beagle, my tiny dog, and it was only then that I realized that Bo had been protecting him that whole time. And then finally I told you a story about when I was getting divorced and I found a little memorial shrine in a park that had been vandalized, so I restored it and.In so doing, I found myself again and nothing ever seemed quite as bad after that because I was no longer personally lost.
