English Conversations with Cliff LMA004, BARBARA w CLIFF #5.1

BARBARA w CLIFF #5.1

All right. Hello, Barbara. For today's conversation, we talked in part about your perfect day, and you told me that you would spend it at the coast in Croatia. You said that because it's a sea and a small sea at that, it's often pleasantly warm. It doesn't stay perpetually cold the way that the ocean can. They have nice beaches, lots of islands off the coast, craggy coastline, and there's no sharks or dangerous fish in the water, so you can swim and be perfectly safe all the time, not having anything to worry about.

And you would be taking in all of this beach and sun and fun by yourself. 'cause sometimes it's just nice to be alone.

And then I was telling you that's my perfect day would, would be here in my home. I've been here 17 years. I've spent a lot of time making this place perfectly serviceable for me, and everything about it is mostly how I would want it to be now. So I enjoy being here. So I wouldn't need to travel anywhere for my perfect day.

Though we both agreed that spending some time in the more of afternoon sun in a hammock. Is a great way to spend time. And I actually have a hammock I set up in the background. Background in the, in my backyard. And it has its own independent frame, so even though I only have one tree in my backyard now, down from three, I still have it and I use it a lot. As long as the weather permits.

And then we talked about, we talked about writing. And stories. And I told you a little bit about the genre of cyberpunk and my, and my latest book, which is in that genre. And I appreciate the opportunity to share my story with you. So thank you very much.
