The poster project requires you to synthesize course material to design a healthcare organization and governance structure the way you would have things run in the best of all worlds. The electronic poster file is an artifact of the course which you can circulate to colleagues or use for a talk or presentation event. In constructing your poster, you are going to do so from the perspective of the chief healthcare administrator for your organization. You are describing your organization to an audience. Healthcare administration encompasses responsibility for all aspects of a healthcare organization. The focus is both internal to the organization and external to the organization to maximize the efficient and effective operation of the organization as a whole and its survival both short-term and long term. Healthcare administrators make decisions about the direction and operation of the healthcare organization. The role of the healthcare administrator is more strategic than tactical.
