I often get resistance to the idea that language learning should not emphasize grammar instruction. A menudo me resisto a la idea de que el aprendizaje de idiomas no debe enfatizar la enseñanza de la gramática. 我經常對語言學習不應強調語法教學的觀點感到反感。

I do not try to learn grammar rules when I learn a new language. I deliberately ignore them. 我故意忽略它們。 I do not understand or remember them. I just imitate what I hear and see. 我只是模仿聽到和看到的東西。

Research by Krashen and others has shown that learning grammar will not enable people to become fluent. At The Linguist we believe learning should be driven by enjoyable input and a systematic approach to learning words and phrases. 在語言學家學院，我們相信學習應該由愉快的輸入和學習單詞和短語的系統方法來驅動。 We do not encourage grammar instruction. No fomentamos la enseñanza de la gramática. 我們不鼓勵語法教學。 Many of our learners have had 10 years of grammar and still cannot speak well. This lack of grammar instruction does not go down well with many teachers and learners. It is not the understanding of the principle, but the development of the correct language instinct that will enable the speaker to be accurate and fluent. 這不是對原理的理解，而是正確的語言本能的發展將使說話者能夠準確，流利。 Only enough exposure and the gradual training of the brain will make that possible. 只有足夠的接觸和逐漸的大腦訓練才能使之成為可能。 The emphasis is on the word gradual. Learners can have a grammar book for reference, the smaller the better. Los alumnos pueden tener un libro de gramática como referencia, cuanto más pequeño, mejor. 學習者可以有一本語法書作為參考，越小越好。 It is often interesting to look up questions of grammar. 查找語法問題通常很有趣。 I have often done so myself. A menudo lo he hecho yo mismo. 我自己經常這樣做。 I have looked up verb conjugations and noun declensions in languages like Spanish and German. He buscado conjugaciones de verbos y declinaciones de sustantivos en idiomas como el español y el alemán. 我曾經用西班牙語和德語等語言查詢過動詞變位和名詞變形。 It did not help me to speak. It did not enable me to use the correct word. 它使我無法使用正確的單詞。 I still needed to learn phrases from real contexts, to notice phrases when reading and listening, and to repeat these phrases when speaking, in order to gradually improve. One of our learners was told by a friend that she needed to work on her grammar. Einer unserer Lernenden wurde von einer Freundin gesagt, dass sie an ihrer Grammatik arbeiten müsse. Un amigo le dijo a uno de nuestros alumnos que necesitaba trabajar en su gramática. 一位朋友告訴我們的一名學習者她需要練習語法。 She always said "deal a problem" rather than "deal with a problem". Sie sagte immer „Kümmere dich um ein Problem“ statt „Kümmere dich um ein Problem“. Ella siempre decía "tratar un problema" en lugar de "tratar con un problema". 她總是說“解決問題”，而不是“解決問題”。 She had problems with prepositions. 她的介詞有問題。 But to me the problem was not one of grammar. Pero para mí el problema no era de gramática. Why do you "deal with a problem" but "manage a problem"? ¿Por qué "lidias con un problema" pero "gestionas un problema"? 為什麼您“處理問題”卻“管理問題”？ You cannot create explanations for every possible situation. 您無法為每種可能的情況創建解釋。 The learner just needs to make "deal with" a phrase that she knows, uses and masters. I still feel that The Linguist language learning engine is the most efficient way to make a breakthrough. Spend more time listening and reading and noticing the correct structure of the language and spend less time studying grammar rules that you will forget. 花更多的時間在聽力和閱讀上並註意語言的正確結構，而花更少的時間研究會忘記的語法規則。
