Why MSA text to voice for ECA?

I’m new to LingQ. I just paid for my first month since it was impossible to really try it out without paying. I am studying Egyptian Arabic and am finding it very unpleasant that the text to voice is in Modern Standard, so much so that I will most likely cancel my subscription at the end of the month. It’s a shame because other than that, I find LingQ very helpful. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is this a problem of LINGQ itself or, could it be that LINGQ is dependent on what is available on the internet? For intstance, does Google Translate have the possibility of text to speech for Egyptian Arabic?

Good questions. I know that Google Translate recognizes written ECA and can translate it into English. However, it can’t do the reverse, and there is no text-to-speech in Egyptian Arabic.
