Why doesn't lesson vocabulary support tag filters?

When I go through the lesson, I usually want to spend a little time with flashcards, to help me remember words I met there. However, I don’t want to drill every single unknown word I met. Not all words are equally important.
I guess, I can just mark words as “ignore” to exclude them from created lingqs, but it goes against the “official” advice on using Lingq, which recommends only ignore meaningless words, like names, or words in a language other from the target one.
Another solution is to tag important words, then go to the full vocabulary and filter by tag AND by lesson, but it requires too many steps. And the filter by lesson looks broken on IOS (?!). Some lessons are missing from there, as if the list of lessons is truncated after exceeding some limit (in my case it shows only lessons with names from A to D). Why not limit it to lessons belonging to the selected course filter?
Also, wouldn’t it be better to have a separate button in word popup to specifically mark a word for flashcards as “will learn” or will it make the system too complex?
I would like to hear other approaches.

They could probably simplify it a little but the current system isn’t bad once you figure it out I think. You can tag words to make lists etc. I’m about to export a list now to Anki. I could just use the LingQ flash cards too but I like the added control Anki gives me. You can ignore the lesson filter as long as you filter for the desired tag it should be good.

Tag your words. Go to the Vocab tab and then tap New-Familiar, scroll down to the tags and check your filter then you need to go back to the previous menu and hit apply.

The thing is I want to repeat/cram the important words I’ve just met in a text (then read the text once again), not some words from a month ago (basically, I don’t need an SRS here, just plain flashcards), so ignoring the lesson filter is not really an option, unless I’m ready to create a separate tag for every lesson I learn.
The preferred solution would be to make a lesson vocabulary screen more functional, adding the ability to filter it by tag/status and start review, just like in the full vocabulary screen.
Or if this is too hard, make existing lesson filter more easy to use.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion, We will see what we can do.
