Too Many Notifications!

I’m a new learner on LingQ and really enjoying it as a resource so far. BUT while I find it a helpful resource, there is a big notification issue! TOO MANY notifications, drop-down banners, etc… Tried turning them all off in Settings (no checked boxes) and STILL notifications. My learning methods extend beyond LingQ so I find these drop-down banners about Streaks etc. rather irrelevant and distracting.
I read a tip in another thread about increasing Streak expectations to reduce notifications but I’d really rather turn them off and honestly it should be possible to do so.

Any help on this or word from a site admin on bringing changes to the site please!

Can I second this? Way too many notifications.

It’s very distracting and., actually, annoying.

Please introduce an option where they can be turned off…

Can I third this? These notifications can all be done away with. Just as the recurring explanations on how to use Lingq that I still sometimes get after having been a member for more than a year.

Pop-up notifications can’t be disabled under the settings at the moment.
Since other users complained about it on other threads we will look into finding a way to get them disabled together with email settings in the upcoming updates.
