The importer extension doesn’t work, I tried yesterday and today to import from Youtube and the extension show an Error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension but it still doesn’t work.
I also have the same problem.
Sorry about that, we are familiar with the issue and we are looking into it. Should be fixed soon.
I have the same problem.
I have the same problem, i can’t import any youtube video.
I have the same problem
The extension is not working but we can still manually import subtitle text and audio files to create our lessons.
I’m using These two sites to create my lessons.
To download subtitles from youtube visit: https://downsub.com/
To download audio from youtube visit: Best YT to MP3 download Tools - Ytmp3
Same problem. It’s disappointing since this a big reason I signed up. Hope it’s fixed soon.
Same problem here as well.
This seems to be a problem on a regular basis. Can this issue be sorted out once and for all? I certainly hope that when the new version of LingQ is released this will be a thing of the past.
We are doing our best to have it fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks Zoran. I’m also experiencing the same problem with both Chrome and Safari extensions for both Japanese and Spanish content.
I use the app version of YouTube.
There is nothing like Error, as long as I did.
and you can use the mobile app to import videos?
i tried app ver, but the save button is grayed out and cannot import.
Mine is iOS ver and version of iOS, Youtube and Lingq are all up to date.
has anyone emailed Steve K. about this?
Maybe that would help?Very frustrating and there is no indication of when this will be fixed. It has been more than 2 weeks.
I don’t think there’s anything he can do he isn’t a tech person.
Unfortunately the issue isn’t on our end and that is the reason why it’s not fixed yet. We are doing our best, we know how popular YouTube import feature is.
thanks. with this information, I can import manually:-)
