Support for "Classic" abandoned?

Has support for the “Classic” format been abandoned?

  1. For several weeks I have not been able to access the “Library” in any of my languages.
  2. Numbers, accent marks, and combinations of accent marks & words, are showing up as new blue words. (or counted as a blue word but not blue in the text), in all languages.
  3. Many words, in all languages are saved as known words (4), but are not clickable or accessible in any way.
These problems are not being fixed!
    Increasingly frustrating!

I am sorry to hear that!

  1. I can’t reproduce it, what exactly happen when you try to access the Library?
2&3) Those were issues on both Classic and New Reader. Both issues should be fixed now. If you have problem with unclickable white words in some of your imported lessons, just edit them, re-split text and save it again. That will solve the problem.

Every time I try to get to the library, I get this message:
An error has occurred while processing your request. Depending on the type of error, it may be automatically logged and reviewed by our team so please retry your request in a few minutes. If you are still getting this error message after a few minutes, please email us at support@lingq.com.

The other issue with “supposed” blue words and accent marks is not fixed.
This French lesson shows this list of blue words in the right panel, none of which are blue in the text. These words are also unclickable in the text. You don’t expect me to edit the entire, do you?
Please don’t start questioning my system, browser etc. as I have been using the same system for the five years I have been paying for lingQ, and this is a very recent problem.

Check the same lesson again, should be good now.

The course outline shows remaining blue words in the lesson, but the actual lesson has been cleared of the blue menace. The previous lesson and many others in the course have not changed, so I can’t understand why this is being corrected on a lesson by lesson basis. It is also happening in my other languages, too numerous to do lesson by lesson.

Maybe he fixed it going forward, but old data/lessons are still affected?

We are looking into re-splitting all lessons automatically. Hopefully we will find solution for this problem soon.

Let’s hope your diligent work gets this fixed soon. The site is the best, when everything works.
