LingQ extension not working (Google Chrome) (German)

I’m trying to import this video from YT. It’s giving me this message. “Error:The words must not be longer than 60 characters.” How to Learn German: My Journey to Fluency - YouTube

He gives 3 examples of long words. One of them is 64 characters long:

Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz ( Beef Labeling Supervision Task Transfer Act)

I assume that’s what it’s breaking on. Maybe the developers can open the length up a little more =)

Otherwise maybe you can grab the entire subtitles another way and past them in a lesson and then just convert the youtube to mp3? I did a quick search on “extract youtube subtitles” and it looks like it gave a few hits so you might be able to do that. Then you can use YouTube to Mp3 Music Converter - YTMP3 to grab the audio and upload it.

Other than that, the makers of “Language Learning with Netflix” extension also now have a beta version of “Language Learning with Youtube” chrome extension. Maybe play around with that for this particular video. I still like to get the these into LingQ to be able to have on phone and tablet and also keep track of the words.
