How come I cannot lingq those words with hyphen (-) symbol in-between? I use Lingq apps

I am sorry to hear that! Are you using Android or iOS app?

I use Android.

What specifically happens? I think when you lingq words with hyphens in them, the system saves them without the hyphen. For example, if you lingq “over-populated”, it will save “over populated”. Is this what is happening to you?

When I highlight the word e.g. “self-conscious”, and touch the icon at the upper right corner. Only the word “self” pop up only.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, we are already familiar with that issue and we will fix that in new app version which will be released during April. It will be huge improvement in both performance and design. Thanks for your patience!

This is still an issue on the Android app. Often I can’t select hyphenated phrases by dragging across them, or even select the individual words by clicking on them. For example, French words/phrases such as “week-end” and “avez-vous” are impossible to select.
