I've noticed some words have a dotted or dashed grey line underneath them. What does this signify?

1 - New - Yellow
2 - Recognized - Lighter Yellow
3 - Familiar - Lightest Yellow
4 - Learned - Dotted Underlining
Known - No labelling / White
