Quick Question on Italian Grammar in Context

Stavo leggendo una storia e non ho riuscito a capire questa parte:

Bisogna stare molto attenti quando si fanno scelte così importanti come l’acquisto di una casa.

Devi stare molto attento agli aspetti legali, ad eventuali ipoteche delle quali il venditore non ti informa.

Why is “attenti” plural in the top sentence and not the bottom? Isn’t the first sentence essentially “one should…” versus the second one’s “you should”. Is the “one” in this sentence just supposed to be plural?
