I thought someone mentioned in a recent live you tube presentation that it was possible to import from AMAZON.
I tried and failed.

you need to remove the drm. You need Calibre and the DeDRM plugin (free open source)

mel, if azarya’s instructions don’t work follow Peter’s instructions to the letter. Particularly step 1 if you are trying to grab it from the kindle desktop version (making sure you REMAIN on the correct OLD version of Amazon Kindle.)
